A snug fitting vest is glued to our dry suit trouser so even of you slip and take a dive in the water the form fitting hydroglove wader will not easily fill with water! I wear waders a lot. I can't defend it from necessity, but they just feel so right to me.

One thing that's always disappointed was the loose, floppy fit of most chest waders. That may be fine if you're struggling across the South Fork of the North Platte. The force of all that raging water will press the waders against you, and you'd best hope your footing stays sure AND your wader belt snug.
