Collecting
and diving scuba gear from the early days
of diving has caught the interest of thousands
of divers over the years. One piece of diving
gear from those days gone by is almost totally
impossible to find : The molded latex rubber
sheet dry suit! No zippers, no valves, and
no fabric on the inside! Other than Aquala,
all the old style dry suits made by such companies
as Totes, Dunlop, Parelli and spearfisherman
are long gone. Finding one in servicable condition
is very rare.
Natural rubber and most sheet rubber used
for making these dry suits will dry and crack
with age. Even seams on Aquala suits give
way with time. Anyone collecting frogmen gear
and frogman suits knows that with each passing
year such equipment gets harder to find. Hydroglove
has changed all that!

These
unique vintage style rubber suits
offer a gateway into the past!
They were made with the collector
in mind and though many people
use them swimming and snorkeling,
Customworks Limited Company does
not recomend these suits for deep
scuba diving. To use one in such
a manor is to assume all inherant
risk. The Hydroglove rubber suit
was designed as a replica of an
old fashioned scuba dry suit from
50 years ago! It is not a modern
version, it carries with it all
the good and bad points of the
suits from half a century ago.

Do
you do some of your own hull inspections?
Cleaning or maintanance without
having to dry dock? OWN your own Hookah? Well
many boaters are now tossing
there old wet suit in favor of a Customworks
simple all rubber dry suit! They take
up less space, fit a wider range of people
and helps you to avoid the after chill of
getting out of a wet suit on a less than sunny
day. After all, if something needs
attention, does it ever wait for a nice day?
